John C. Wang currently serves as Chairman & Managing Partner of Silverstone. A visionary and entrepreneur, he has been instrumental in the formation, development and direct investment of 30 companies since 1988 on behalf of his family office. Additionally, Mr. Wang is Chairman and founding member of Cultivate Hospitality Group, a full service food & beverage management and consulting firm that connects real estate developers with industry leading chefs and restaurateurs.

Mr. Wang was a former board member of General Bank, a Los Angeles based financial institution with over $3 billion in assets. He was actively involved in the formation and growth of General Bank’s venture capital division. He also served as the principal strategist in the successful merger of General Bancorp with Cathay Bank in 2003.

In 2001, Mr. Wang was appointed by former President of Taiwan to serve as a member of the Taiwan Parliament from 2001-2004. As a member of Foreign Relations committee, he participated and led several relations on numerous diplomatic and trade missions round the world.

Sam Bakhshandehpour CEO & Managing Partner

Sam is the CEO & Managing Partner of Silverstone. Additionally, Sam is Principal and founding member of Cultivate Hospitality Group, a full service food & beverage management and consulting firm that connects real estate developers with industry leading chefs and restaurateurs.

Sam also currently serves as President of ThinkFoodGroup (“TFG”), a long-term client and partner of both Silverstone and Cultivate. TFG is a premier global hospitality company which owns and operates unique dining concepts created by Chef José Andrés. The 30+ restaurants that make up TFG span cuisines, cultures, price points and service styles including two 2-Michelin starred restaurants, game-changing small plates restaurants, fast casual eateries and a food hall. Over the past decade, Sam has served TFG as an operating partner, advisor and investor. In his current capacity, Sam leads the execution of company strategy globally, across the restaurant, brand, hotel, and media divisions.

Previously, Sam served as President, CEO and Board Member of sbe Entertainment, a private-equity backed firm, where he was responsible for the Company's global strategic growth and all operations across the Hotel, Restaurant and Entertainment Divisions. sbe employed over 6,000 team members and had a global pipeline of over 4,000 hotel and residential keys, across 10 hotel properties and 70 restaurant and entertainment venues.

Sam was recruited to sbe with an extensive track record as a 15-year veteran of Wall Street, spending over 12 years with J.P. Morgan Securities as the Head of Real Estate & Lodging Investment Banking practice on the West Coast and the Gaming Investment Banking practice globally focused on mergers & acquisitions and capital raising. Sam began his career as a Financial Analyst with Deutsche Bank (formerly Alex. Brown & Sons) based out of New York and Baltimore.

Sam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.  He currently serves on the board of The New Home Company (NYSE: NWHM), and is a trustee of Federal City Council (FC2).  He is a founding member of the Georgetown Wall Street Alliance West, and is a Senior Advisor to Montminy & Co., FINRA-registered (series 7, 24, 63). Sam is also an active member and former Chair of the Bel Air Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization.
